‘Horror Vacui’ by Federico Chiesa is a photo series that imagines what some of the most iconic villains in pop culture would be doing in their retired years. All of the characters are from 1980s films, and it appears that they have mellowed out quite a bit now they are done killing. While Michael Myers used to chase people down and stab them, that probably won’t happen now that he has to use a walker to get around. Darth Vader doesn’t seem to be doing too well for himself, as he is depicted sitting in a comfy chair with a blanket over his lap flipping through channels. Horror Vacui by Federico Chiesa reminds one that even the bad guys don’t live forever. (more)
