'Bill And Ted 3' Script Is Complete, Says Keanu Reeves

Keanu Reeves has revealed that work is getting underway for a third Bill and Ted film, with a script already written and finished. The Matrix star is set to reprise his role as slacker Ted 'Theodore' Logan alongside Alex Winter as his sidekick Bill S Preston Esq for the third instalment of the science-fiction comedy. "Yeah, we have a script. We're trying to put it together. It's a good script too," he told the Independent. Alex, who previously said that a script had been written, confirmed that they can now try to persuade the studio to give them the green light. He tweeted: "Script done? Check. We love it? Check. Green light? Working on it!" Keanu - who has been working on his directorial debut Man Of Tai Chi - has said that the characters will try to save the world a third time. "It would just be us older guys playing the characters - we'd be older and it would be funny; they're supposed to save the world and they're turning 50," he said. The Bill and Ted saga has continued past the movies with a 1990 animated series and a short-lived live-action series in 1992, which featured none of the original cast members.
