"Double Dragon Neon" Hits XBLA And PSN This September

WayForward Technologies has announced Double Dragon Neon, its 80s style reboot for PSN and XBLA, will release on September 11 and September 12, respectively, for $10 or 800 Microsoft Points. Announced earlier this year as a reboot for the classic arcade series, it will see brothers Billy and Jimmy Lee fighting through the streets to save Marian from a new villain, Skullmageddon. As the Neon name implies, the game will be infused with '80s flair, from the neon lights and bright clothing to '80s inspired music. A grid-like mixtape system will be in place, allowing players to upgrade their character with power-ups. It is being developed by WayForward Technologies, the studio that rebooted another classic series with Contra 4 and last year released BloodRayne: Betrayal. Double Dragon Neon will be available on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. Watch the trailer for Double Dragon Neon below:
