Nike Air Max Pre-Day Sneaker

Nike borrows from both the past and the future for the Nike Air Max Pre-Day Sneaker. It delivers a retro aesthetic with a look that's reminiscent of a 1970s track shoe. In contrast to its old school design, the shoe introduces an innovative air unit that's exposed between the midsole and outsole, getting the foot closer to the air for a more intense bounce. To further propel the sneaker forward, it's constructed from sustainable materials to ensure at least 20% of each pair is made from recycled components. Nike Pegasus Trail 2 GORE-TEX "Smoke Grey"

Nike's Pegasus Trail 2 a beefed-up addition to the ever-popular Pegasus line has released in a “Smoke Grey” colorway. Lined with waterproof GORE-TEX material and featuring other sturdy, trail-specific details, the “Smoke Grey” is the latest piece of Nike Running‘s efforts to take high-performance running tech off the streets and onto the trails. Uppers feature a collar that’s slightly taller than most standard Pegasus iterations and a three-piece colorblocking scheme: stone-toned heels, a dark gray forefoot and toebox and a golden throat/collar. These three main colors are accented by a wide variety of accoutrements, including large black midfoot Swooshes and GORE-TEX logos plus pops of volt on the heel tab, tongue and eyestays. The tongue badge is made of hi-vis reflective material for low-light flair, and two-tone laces tie the top half together. Down below, sharply-shaped midsoles offer a tan shade speckled with black flecks. Though most Pegasus models utilize Zoom Air cushioning, the Trail 2 opts for a responsive full-foot React setup. Red outsoles with a lugged traction pattern and a durable toe bumper complete the look. The Nike Pegasus Trail 2 “Smoke Grey” is available now via Nike Japan for roughly $160 USD. (hypebeast)

Check Out Adidas' IIM 4D

Adidas has been pushing to make its 4D tech more accessable in the lifestyle sphere over the course of 2020, and the latest product of that experimentation is the IIM 4D, a shoe that’s surfaced in a gray and yellow colorway. Joining other Trefoil silhouettes like the ZX 2K 4D and the Ultra4D, the IIM 4D’s build is centered around its latticed, 3D-printed midsole. However, it also features a swath of other appealing design points. Knit uppers combine a light gray base with two types of yellow accents: muted on the midfoot, vibrant on the toebox. This color scheme, knit construction with a sock-like collar and perforations on the quarter panels and forefoot offer slight shades of Kanye West‘s adidas YEEZY BOOST 380. On the other hand, a wild lacing system that features embroidered anchors and tubular detailing seems to pull inspiration from Y-3 styles like the Shiku or RUNNER 4D II. Midsoles present a significantly more trim look than most other 4D sneakers, thanks in large part to a full-foot translucent TPU sheath that brings stability to the upper and encases part of the footbed’s latticed build. Dressed in a pale shade of yellow, the 4D midsole is constructed using adidas’ proprietary Digital Light Synthesis tech, which combines light and oxygen into a solid, supportive cushioning setup. An interesting vertical tread pattern completes the look. A release date for the adidas IIM 4D in gray and yellow has yet to be announced, but it’ll likely arrive towards the tail end of 2020 or in the beginning of 2021. (hypebeast)

Tag Heuer Unveils 3rd Generation Connected Watch

Tag Heuer has announced the third generation of its luxury smartwatch, featuring a more refined design and added sensors for sport and fitness. It is available in stainless steel and titanium models with a 45mm case, each with a rubberized crown and ceramic bezel. Its 1.4-inch OLED touchscreen is protected by scratch-resistant sapphire glass. Like other smartwatches it runs on Google’s Wear OS operating system and hooks up to your phone to display notifications and messages. A new Tag Heuer Sports app uses GPS plus heart rate, compass, accelerometer and gyroscopic sensors for tracking sports including golf, running and cycling. Activity from the watch can then be shared with services like Strava, Google Fit and Apple Health. Tag Heur’s Connected also looks more like a traditional watch then previous iterations. The company says it has taken cues from its classic Carrera watches, resulting in a less chunky design. Tag Heuer has also been able to make the watch physically smaller by hiding the antennas underneath a new ceramic bezel, in addition to putting the screen closer to the sapphire glass. The company was the first Swiss watchmaker to embrace touchscreen smart technology, launching the original Tag Heuer Connected in 2015. Jean-Claude Biver, then-president of the LVMH Watch Division (Hublot, Zenith and Tag Heuer), said that by the end of 2016 it had sold 56,000 units, triple the number predicted. A second version, the Connected Modular 45, that allowed owners to switch between connected and mechanical modules, a first for the Swiss industry, was launched in 2017. The Tag Heuer Golf, that displayed satellite views of more than 39,000 golf courses, launched last year. The new Tag Heuer Connected comes in a variety of case, strap and bracelet options, starting from $1,800. Additional straps and bracelets are also available. (esquire)
