Watch The Trailer For 'Jay And Silent Bob Reboot'

The first trailer for Jay and Silent Bob Reboot has been unveiled, featuring a line-up of guest stars including Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. The reboot is a sequel to 2001’s Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and has been described by director and star Kevin Smith as “literally the same f***ing movie all over again”. Jay and Silent Bob Reboot is supposed to be a parody of modern Hollywood’s obsession with sequels, remakes and reboots. Jason Mewes and Smith are reprising their roles as hapless duo Jay and Silent Bob in the new film, and the trailer reveals cameos from Damon, Affleck, Val Kilmer, Method Man, Rosario Dawson and Chris Hemsworth, to name a few. In the clip, we see Jay and Silent Bob embarking on a cross-country mission to attempt to stop Hollywood rebooting an old movie based on them. Jay and Silent Bob Reboot will be released in cinemas on 15 October 2019.
