Ferrari Unveils The 296 GTS

The 296 GTB marked the first production V6 from Ferrari since the Dino. The GTS marks the first road-going 6-cylinder spider in the Prancing Horse's history. It uses the same plug-in hybrid powertrain as the GTB, pairing a 2.9-liter turbocharged V6 making 654 hp with a 164 hp electric motor, resulting in a total output of 818 hp, a 0-60 time of 2.9 seconds, and a top speed of 205 mph. While the styling remains highly similar to the GTB, the GTS gains a retractable hard top for open-air enjoyment, and will also be available with a track-focused Assetto Fiorano package.

Ferrari Daytona SP3 Targa

Ferrari unveiled the latest in its "Icona" line of vintage-inspired, limited-edition sports cars at the Mugello Circuit, the Scuderia-owned racetrack. The Daytona SP3 Targa takes its name from Ferrari's 1-2-3 finish at the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona, and its shape from the 330 P3/4, 330 P4, and 412 P racers that claimed the top three spots. The carbon fiber chassis borrows construction techniques used in Scuderia Ferrari's F1 program, with a mid-mounted, naturally-aspirated V12 making 828 horsepower and 514 lb-ft of torque. 0-62 comes in 2.86 seconds, 124 MPH in 7.4, while terminal velocity is in excess of 211 MPH.

Extans Unveils A Bicycle Made Out Of Blue Carbon Fiber

Extans reveals one of its most extravagant designs yet, the Akhal Sheen. The bike's monocoque carbon frame is constructed out of blue carbon fiber with a CNC machined head, dropouts, and a seat clamp that's made from a single aluminum billet. The bike also features a full carbon fork, seat post, and handlebars. 24k gold plating adds some flourish to the bike and its components include Shimano Dura Ace brakes, Paul Components brake levers, an FSA headset, a Mavic Ellipse Pro Carbon UST wheelset, Pirelli P Zero tires, and much more. Only 19 bikes will be made and each one weighs under 21 lbs. (acquire)

Triumph Project TE-1 Motorcycle

Triumph's first effort to enter the electric motorcycle market is getting very close to seeing the road, thanks to the help of Williams Advanced Engineering. The branch of the Williams F1 team is lending its expertise to Project TE-1 in the form of battery, motor, and software controls with the aim of eliminating compromised performance at low battery power levels. This is helped by an extremely lightweight package making use of cutting-edge materials. Power consistency and fast charge times are critical, and the TE-1 makes use of a 360-volt system that can charge to 80% in under 20 minutes. The bike has entered the second phase of its four-year cycle, with Triumph not announcing any production dates yet. (uncrate)

Fifteen Eleven Porsche 914 Coupe

Originally a joint venture between Volkswagen and Porsche, the 914 gets passed over in vintage Porsche circles for the 911 and even the 944. With its flyweight chassis and mid-engine layout, the car has plenty of capability, with the only downside being its VW flat-four engine, although a flat-six was available and is now exceedingly rare. Restomod specialists Fifteen Eleven are preparing to bring the 914 back, this time with a 3.4-liter flat-six from the Porsche Cayman and updated suspension and brakes. The new engine makes 325 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque in a car that weighs just over 2,000 pounds. Fifteen Eleven's 914 is still in the initial design stages, with more details to come. Jaguar Vision Gran Turismo SV Revealed

For their latest contribution to Gran Turismo, Jaguar has unveiled the all-electric Vision Gran Turismo SV. The company also went beyond the digital realm with a full-scale model that will act as a real-world design study to showcase the potential for a radical all-electric race car design. The concept features a lightweight composite body structure wrapped around four electric motors that produce a combined output of 1877 hp and 2478 lb-ft of torque, allowing for a 0-60 time of 1.65 seconds and a top speed of 255 mph. Gran Turismo fans will be able to get behind the wheel of the Vision Gran Turismo SV in 2021.

KTM X-Bow GTX Race Car

The ultimate version of KTM's X-Bow, the GTX, is officially ready for the track following its February 2020 debut. Starting with the X-Bow's carbon fiber monocoque, the GTX encloses the driver in a fighter jet-style clamshell with Makrolon windows and full carbon bodywork. Inside is an FIA-homologated roll cage and Recaro kevlar racing seat with Schroth harness and a custom steering wheel with integrated digital display and controls. A new electronic steering rack replaces the former hydraulic unit, saving weight and making for faster response, with the GTX weighing in at 2,310 pounds. The biggest change happens behind the driver's shoulders, with an Audi turbocharged five-cylinder making 523 horsepower and driving the wheels through an electronically-controlled sequential gearbox. 20 vehicles will be produced in 2020, with KTM planning an exclusive racing series next year. Maserati MC20 Coupe

It's been 15 years since Maserati has had a true supercar in the lineup and today, the company returns to the category with the highly-anticipated MC20. The supercar launches a whole new era for the brand with a car that pulls from its racing DNA to create a high-performance flagship with an in-house engine called the Nettuno. Designed and produced in Italy, the patented Nettuno is a 630 hp, twin-turbo V6 that can get from 0-62 in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph. The exterior also makes for one of the brand's most stunning cars to date with its carbon fiber body that has been shaped to not only look beautiful but is also aerodynamically efficient. It will also feature butterfly doors that have been ergonomically designed for easy entry and exit and the driver-focused interior is hit with all the latest technology, arranging all the controls and tech in a way that reduces distractions while keeping things luxurious, simple, and most importantly, functional. Production is set for the end of the year and Maserati has also announced that the MC20 will be available in convertible and all-electric versions. (acquire)

Cyan Racing Reveals Its Tribute To The Volvo P1800

Volvo's motorsport division is paying tribute to one of its most iconic vehicles with a restomod of the P1800. The P1800 Cyan overhauls an original 1964 P1800 in high-strength steel and carbon fiber and wraps it around a two-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 420 hp and 335 lb-ft of torque. The engine is coupled to a five-speed custom Holinger manual gearbox and the rear-axle has been upgraded with a Cyan independent rear suspension. Additional features include a fully adjustable front and rear suspension with custom aluminum uprights, double wishbones, two-adjustable dampers, and Cyan hydraulics. Additional features include a 18" forged rims with Pirelli P Zero tires and four-piston brake calipers.  (acquire)

2020 Ares Design Panther ProgettoUno

Ares Design is bringing the classic lines of the DeTomaso Pantera back in a modern, updated design. The Panther's carbon fiber body rides on a donor Lamborghini Huracan chassis, meaning that the Panther has an excellent naturally-aspirated V10, all-wheel-drive, and great handling. The interior is bespoke according to each customer's taste, with generous amounts of Alcantara, Nappa leather, and carbon fiber throughout. The body was designed with the help of computational fluid dynamics, meaning it isn't just there to look good — it also provides good aerodynamics, along with LED popup headlights. Ares plans to make 70 Panthers over the next five years making it a very rare car based on the already-rare Huracan. (uncrate)

Zooz’s Concept 01

Weighing just 85 lbs, the Zooz Concept 01 is a lightweight, all-electric rocket on two wheels. Powered by a drive system that's comprised of a battery, controller, and hub, the Concept 01 is simple yet powerful with a 4.3kW system and a 72-volt QS hub motor that can get the bike up to 60 mph. It also features Shimano stoppers, a moped suspension, a steering stabilizer, a nickel-plated 430 Chromoly tubing frame, carbon fiber bodywork, 18-inch aluminum wheels, IRC moped tires, and modified BMX pegs. Porsche Classic CarPlay Stereos

Porsche is giving its vintage models and its new classics a modern infotainment option with the new PCCM and PCCM Plus systems. PCCM is a 1-DIN unit for models like the 1960s 911 and every 911 until the 993. The PCCM system will feature CarPlay as well as digital radio station support through DAB+ and media playback via SD, USB, AUX, and Bluetooth. For 991s like the 996 and Boxsters from the 986 generation will have a PCCM Plus option with a 2-DIN unit that features a high-res 7-inch touchscreen that features both CarPlay and Android Auto support. €1,439-€1,606 (approx. $1,548-$1,727).

Vyrus Alyen 988 Motorcycle

Italian small-unit manufacturer Vyrus has debuted its all-new Alyen 988 superbike, combining speed and power with a futuristic design for a motorbike like no other. The heart of the Alyen is a 1,285cc Ducati L-Twin making 202 horsepower at 10,500 RPM mated to a six-speed transmission, giving the bike plenty of velocity to match its angular bodywork. Sharp angles of exposed carbon fiber give the bike its futuristic appearance along with carbon fiber 17-inch wheels. Vyrus didn't skimp anywhere else with the Alyen, with Brembo GP4 brakes providing the stopping power to match the power.

BMW R nineT By Zillers Garage

This BMW R nineT is a custom motorcycle built by Mikhail Smolânovym of Zillers Garage in Moscow, Russia, in co-operation with John Red Design. The whole bike was covered with fairings to hide all the mechanical components except the 1,170cc boxer engine. The result is a futuristic-looking neo-retro cafe racer.

Bentley Mulliner Bacalar Roadster

Bentley Mulliner is returning to coachbuilding in a big way with the reveal of the most exclusive modern two-door Bentley yet, the Bacalar. Named after the Mexican lake town, the Bacalar is the first of a number of bespoke Bentley models built by Mulliner's new Coachbuilt portfolio. Handbuilt at Mulliner's workshop in Crewe, the twelve Bacalars will each feature a deep level of customization that will be built around a true roof-less Barchetta design with an even more powerful version of Bentley's 6.0L W12 engine. The upgraded engine produces 650 hp and 667 lb-ft of torque, delivering that effortless power the cars are known for. Sustainable paint and material options first seen in the EXP 100 GT concept will come to fruition in the Bacalar with paint that uses ash from rice husks, natural British wool, and 5,000-year-old Riverwood from the ancient Fenlands in Eastern England. The interior will also feature a wraparound cockpit that envelopes passengers and flows into a semi-enclosed luggage compartment that can house custom Schedoni fitted luggage. (acquire)

Supercar Capsule

Supercar Capsule wants to create bespoke private showrooms and garages to display supercars right in its owners' homes. The United Arab Emirates-based team's goal is to allow a customer's supercar to have a "distinct aesthetic experience at home," according to the company. Supercar Capsule can either design and construct separate villas or towers to showcase the vehicles, or modify existing garages and rooms in a home to turn a supercar into a piece of art meant to be displayed as such. The Supercar Capsule team is comprised of a group of engineers, designers, and architects. The bespoke garage project and its concept was created by ASZarchitetti Group, which is the collective of architecture firms ASZarchitetti and SUPERFUTUREDESIGN*. Combined, the group has already created over 400 projects around the world. The pricing of the capsule depends on what the client wants. However, a single glass showroom "pod" starts at $45,000. Koenigsegg Gemera Coupe

Four seats. Eight cup holders. 1,700 horsepower. The Koenigsegg Gemera is a new class of car the company has dubbed a "Mega-GT", merging supercar specs with luxury sedan comfort. All four seats can be accessed easily via the giant wing doors, and inside riders are treated to wireless phone chargers, on-board WiFi, an 11-speaker sound system, and central infotainment displays front and rear. Power is supplied via 2.0L, twin-turbo three-cylinder engine producing 600hp and a trio of electric motors one on each rear wheel with another on the crankshaft outputting 1,100 hp. A sprint from 0-62 mph takes just 1.9 seconds, with the top speed of 248 mph approaching in record-matching time; the car also offers a pure EV range of over 31 miles, with a top speed of 186 mph. Czinger 21C Hybrid Hypercar

Czinger has released the details for the upcoming 21C hybrid hypercar. Designed and built in-house from the chassis to the ICE engine using a patented process that combines 3D-printing and computer-controlled machining, the 21C is the revolution Czinger claimed it to be — a 1,250 horsepower, all-wheel-drive hybrid that tips the scales at just over 2,600 pounds. The main power unit is a 2.88-liter, twin turbo flat-plane crank V8 that drives the rear wheels with a torque-vectoring electric motor powering each front wheel. The V8 is mated to a seven-speed paddle-shift transmission with software controlling the electric motors, all under the driver's control. Quarter mile and 0-62 MPH times are astronomical at 8.1 seconds and 1.9 seconds respectively. Czinger will make 80 21Cs at their Los Angeles-based facility.
