Fifteen Eleven Porsche 914 Coupe
Originally a joint venture between Volkswagen and Porsche, the 914 gets
passed over in vintage Porsche circles for the 911 and even the 944.
With its flyweight chassis and mid-engine layout, the car has plenty of
capability, with the only downside being its VW flat-four engine,
although a flat-six was available and is now exceedingly rare. Restomod
specialists Fifteen Eleven are preparing to bring the 914 back, this
time with a 3.4-liter flat-six from the Porsche Cayman and updated
suspension and brakes. The new engine makes 325 horsepower and 273 lb-ft
of torque in a car that weighs just over 2,000 pounds. Fifteen Eleven's
914 is still in the initial design stages, with more details to come.
Orders are available now.
