English electronic group The Prodigy have now put a working title to their sixth studio album and follow-up to 2009′s Invaders Must Die. The new album will be titled How to Steal a Jet Fighter, and is already described as being ‘Darker And Heavier’, much like their early material. Frontman Liam Howlett spoke to NME
about getting back together to record and what to expect, “We’re really
excited about it. The last record was kind of a party album, I guess.
We were all happy to be back together again. But the best tunes of that
album are the ones that have less of that. It’s definitely going to be
heavier, darker.” When asked about whether they would evolve the music to go in the
almost inevitable direction of dubstep, he said, “All the dubstep stuff
that’s around, we’re loving it, but that’s not our game. We won’t go
near it.”
