RM Auctions hammered down $43 million during its weekend sale at the
Historical Grand Prix of Monaco, with the big-ticket item being a 1957
Ferrari 625 TRC Spider that sold for $6.42 million. The two-day auction presented a collection of more than 90 premium
vehicles, 100 Ducati bikes and three boats. Ten cars fetched more than a
million Euros on the auction block, headed by the 625 TRC Spider, one
of only two made. But that exclusivity wasn't enough to compete with the
$12.2 million a 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa fetched in 2009.
