Kraftwerk To Perform 3D Concert Series At Museum Of Modern Art

Following Björk’s lead, electronic pioneers Kraftwerk will soon set up shop at a New York City museum for a multi-night residency. As The New York Times reports, the German outfit will deliver eight performances at the Museum of Modern Art in April, each devoted to one of their albums. In addition to tracks from the night’s respective album, each performance will feature other original compositions “intended to showcase the group’s influence on contemporary culture.” All of the music will be set to projected images, including 3-D ones. The residency kicks off April 10th with a performance of Kraftwerk’s 1974 debut Autobahn. Check out the full schedule below. Tickets go on sale February 22nd at Noon ET.
