The New MB&F HM5 Timepiece

The talented folks at MB&F are at it again and this time they've been inspired by the 70s with their Horological Machine No5. The watch is a tip of the hat to the Amida Digitrend, an underrated timepiece that was way ahead of its time. The HM5 resurrects this idea with a timepiece that takes that design into the modern day with a wedge-shaped case that features louvers inspired by car-design that isn't just for looks, but opens to allow light in for charging the Super-LumiNova indexes on the watch. The movement is a 30-jewel automatic with a 22k "battle-axe" rotor, Sowind gear train, and a power reserve of up to 42 hours. All of this is inside a water-resistant, stainless-steel container.
