Robert Zemeckis Says Script For Roger Rabbit Sequel Is Ready
Roger Rabbit could be ready to make his return to the big screen says Robert Zemeckis. In an interview with MTV, Zemeckis has been talking about a sequel to ‘Who framed Rodger Rabbit?’ “I’m happy with the script, it’s very good!” says the ‘Back to the Future’ director. “If I were to do the sequel, it would be done just like the first one,”
Zemeckis told MTV, “I would do all of the animation hand-drawn; 2D, but
using 3D tools.” But whilst Zemeckis wants the films to be released in 3D, he’s keen to keep the charm of the 1988 original. “It wouldn’t be like Pixar 3-D,” he says, “It wouldn’t look like that… this would again be another period movie.” Although
the studio are still dragging their feet over the sequel, Zemeckis
hinted that he’s willing to convert the original film for a 3D
re-release - so either way there’s a good chance we get to see a lot
more of Roger and Lady wife Jessica sometime soon. (Yahoo)
