Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force Concept

The newest model signed by Mercedes-Benz is named the Ener-G-Force Concept and it will be officially presented to the public at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show later on this month. According to the German based automaker, Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force Concept has been developed for the L.A. Auto Show Design Challenge and the model is environmentally friendly, being able to use alternative energy sources. The Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force Concept is actually a preview into a future generation of the G-Class, which will probably wear the 2015 model year in its name and it will hit the market in two versions, civilian and police. “The Ener-G-Force is the vision of an off-roader that, while reflecting tomorrow’s adventures, also invokes the genes of the Mercedes-Benz off-road icon, the G model. Modern and cool, it could also be a clue about a new beginning for the off-road design idiom of Mercedes-Benz”, said the director of Design at Mercedes-Benz Cars, Gorden Wagener. Mercedes-Benz says that the Ener-G-Force Concept can store recycled water in roof-mounted tanks before being transferred to the hydro-tech converter which will transform the natural and renewable resources into hydrogen. The maximum range provided by the electricity generated during this process is approximately 800 km (500 miles). Additional details on the Mercedes-Benz Ener-G-Force Concept will be announced on the 28th of November, during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show. (inautonews)
