Primus New Album Gets Release Date (Tour)

 The new album from eccentric funk-rockers, Primus will be available from September 13th through ATO Records/Prawn Songs, reports hard rock & metal website Brave Words.

The new record, which has been produced and engineered by Claypool, will be the Californian rockers seventh album and is their first in almost eleven years. Their last full length studio outing was in 1999 with 'Antipop' and their forthcoming album, entitled 'Green Naugahyde' will feature their first batch of new material since 2003's 'Animals Should Not Try to Act Like People' EP.
'Green Naugahyde' will be the first Primus album to feature drummer Jay Lane alongside bassist/vocalist Les Claypool and guitarist Larry LaLonde.
