Is that motorcyclist wearing a crash helmet, or are they just rather big-headed? It is a question you could well be asking in the future if a team of off-the-wall designers from Kazakhstan get their way. In “a creative experiment” they have designed a range of eye-catching “skid lids” with a difference. There is a trim haircut, bald head and mane of red hair, a brain, tennis ball and watermelon. More adventurous bikers might choose the cracked walnut, bubble-wrap, or even the pert bottom or breast. They have been created by marketing agency GOOD Creative, Marketing & PR in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and interest has been so great they may go into production, initially in Japan and America. Designer Renat Abdrakhamov said: “We tried to do something different just for fun, for ourselves. “There are no real helmets yet, just the design. But once hundreds of thousands of people showed interest in the product we starting thinking about production.”
