W Motors Unveils Arab World's First Homegrown Supercar

From Beirut, Lebanon come W Motors who are set to be the premier manufacturer of hyper cars in the region. The cars are named the Hyper-sport and the Super-sport. At the helm of the project is Ralph R Debbas, who graduated from Coventry University School of Art and Design with a major in Automotive Design. He also has received numerous awards for concepts he worked on in Europe. Details available at the moment are that it will have signature diamond incrusted LED lights and a holographic display. Each customer will be able to choose a precious stone to have fitted to the interior of the car. The car will feature a carbon fiber frame, a gold plated hood and gold or platinum keys. The engine is touted to be a mid mounted, twin-turbocharged, six-cylinder engine producing around 750hp. A 0-100km/h time of 2.8 seconds will be the project aim alongside a 385km/h (239mph) top speed. Details on the Super-sport will also be released at a later date. The Hyper-car will be unveiled in December at an event in Dubai. This will be followed by the public launch at the Qatar Motor Show in January 2013.
