Director Sam Raimi stopped by Comic-Con today to unveil the first teaser for Oz: The Great and Powerful. The film, which takes place in the time before the iconic The Wizard of Oz, follows Oz (James Franco)
on his journey from being a dishonest magician in Kansas to coming into
his own in the Emerald City. He gets some help from Glinda (Michelle Williams) and also encounters witchy sisters Theodora (Mila Kunis) and Evanora (Rachel Weisz). The teaser doesn't give away much, starting off in black and white before going into full
technicolor. Oz the Great and Powerful opens on March 8th, 2013.
