Initially unveiled in Geneva back in March, Dutch automotive manufacturer Spyker
has introduced a further look and additional info regarding its
upcoming B6 Venator. Named for the Latin word for “hunter,” the Venator
is a nod to the early 20th century Spyker Hunter fighter aircraft and,
as such, features an aircraft-inspired canopy, afterburner-esque LED
taillights, and 19-inch alloy wheels reminiscent of a Turbofan. Under
the hood a V6 mid-engine supplies upwards of 375 hp to the rear wheels
via a six-speed automatic transmission while the interior of the vehicle
sees premium leather upholstery, aluminum accents, and fighter
plane-inspired instruments. Due to be accompanied by the B6 Venator
Spyder – a convertible version of the automobile – Spyker’s latest
creation is set to make its debut in the early months of 2014 before
hitting North America that fall for between $125,000 USD and $150,000
USD. (hypebeast)
