McLaren P1 Unveiled Ahead Of Paris Auto Show Debut

These are the first images of the McLaren P1, alternately known as the P12, the successor to the McLaren F1, or the next attempt at greatness for McLaren Automotive. The McLaren P1 is intended to be, according to managing director Antony Sheriff, "the most exciting, most capable, most technologically advanced and most dynamically accomplished supercar ever made--not necessarily to be the fastest in absolute top speed but to be the quickest and most rewarding series production road car on a circuit." This isn't the final production version of the P1, however. It's merely a design preview--the production version will be unveiled and go on sale sometime within the next 12 months. (motorauthority)
