Exagon Furtive eGT To Debut At Paris Motor Show
French automaker Exagon Motors will debut its sports model Exagon Furtive eGT, at the 2012 Paris Motor Show
next month, two year after it was first revealed. The production
version of French electric sports car will be one of the most
interesting models that will be debuted at the show. Unlike the original
version, the new Exagon Furtive eGT is expected to attract the audience
with its upsized set of 148-kW (198.5 hp) motors and a large 57-kWh
battery. The all-electric beauty designed with silver shades was first spotted at a track near Nürburg, Germany along with Sabine Schmitz, former German professional motor racing driver. It seemed that Schmitz was quite impressed with the all-electric sports car,
especially with the chassis and mechanicals. She expressed her
excitement by saying “it’s like floating on a cloud,” as it provided her
effortless acceleration and battery-induce low center of gravity. The
sporty EV with a three-speed transmission can reach 100 km/h (62 mph)
in 3.5 seconds, before topping out at 287 km/h (179 mph). It is learnt
that Exagon Motors have chosen Siemens to develop and equip the traction of its electric sports Furtive e-GT. A
video is also out, displaying the powerful run of the Exagon Furtive
eGT with Miss Schmitz throttling through the Nordschleife. In the video
the former German racer has also shared her impressions about the new electric sports car. (nitrobahn)
