2012 Imperia GP Hybrid
This is new 2012 Imperia GP. Built in Liege, Belgium, the Imperia GP comes from a rich heritage of
performance automobiles, with a strong focus on the future, namely in
hybrid vehicles. Its Neo-Retro design is a mind-bender, but speaks
volumes about what’s under the hood, namely a 1.6 liter four-cylinder
turbocharged engine that puts out 210 hp and 250 Nm of torque, not to
mention a 136 hp electric motor. The car accelerates from stand still to 100 km/h in 4 seconds flat. The astonishing thing about it is the fuel consumption – 1.9L/100km
and CO2 emissions less than 50 g/km. It also can go up to 70 km (43
miles) only on electricity. With the high-efficient batteries, the recharging takes only 4 and a half hours. The 2012 Imperia GP will go on sale sometime this year with a starting price of 89,950 euros. Imperia Auto will also offer a GP “First Edition” model that will go on sale with a price tag of 120,360 euros.
