Tramontana XTR To Get V12 With 888 Horsepower
Spanish automaker Tramontana has revealed that they're working on the XTR as the successor of the R model. This is going to be a two-seater, but the driver will be positioned
in front of the passenger, and both of them will be enclosed in a glass
bubble. Behind them there will be a huge Mercedes-Benz-sourced V12 5.5-liter
bi-turbo engine that will produce no less than 888 hp (662 kW / 900 PS)
and a peak torque of 722 lb.-ft. (980 Nm). That entire horsepower will
be sent to the rear wheels via an "ultra-rapid competition gearbox."
With a curb weight of approximately 3,000 lbs (1,360 kg), it will need
3.6 seconds to do the 0-60 mph sprint, before hitting 214 mph (344
km/h). The car will also receive several aerodynamic and chassis upgrades,
while these renderings tell us that the hypercar will get an entirely
new front end with different headlights and spoiler, along with a
different rear diffuser and a restyled spoiler. The Tramontana XTR will have a starting price of $514,000 (420,000
Euros) and it is expected to come out towards the end of the year.
