New ZZ Top Album Get’s Title, Release Date

The long-awaited ZZ Top album finally has a title and a release date. The album is called "La Futura", and it will arrive in stores on September 11. ‘La Futura’ was produced by Rick Rubin (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Johnny Cash). A four-song preview of the album surfaced in May when the songs ‘I Gotsta Get Paid’, ‘Chantreuse’, Consumption’ and ‘Over You’ were released as the ‘Texicali’ E.P. Another track, ‘Flyin’ High’ premiered in a broadcast to the Soyuz spacecraft when it was launched to the International Space Station 13 months ago. 2013 marks 42 years since ZZ Top formed in Texas. The original line-up featuring Billy F. Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard.
