Sony Unveils PlayStation 4 Console

Sony's PlayStation 4 has been unveiled at the gaming and technology expo E3 2013 in Los Angeles today. Hundreds of gamers, exhibitors and companies are showing off their wares at the industry event. It was all eyes on Sony's PlayStation as their news conference gave the gaming world the first look at the PS4 console, which had been announced but not previously seen other than in a blurry video. There is fierce rivalry between Xbox and PlayStation with Xbox already revealing more about their new console Xbox One and the games which will form part of it. Sony Entertainment executives said today PS4 is a completely new platform and in many ways represents a completely new PlayStation. They also previewed four new titles for the PS4, saying they had used Twitter to find out what gamers want. Sony Computer Entertainment America president Jack Tretton, said PS4 is a platform that "demonstrates a relentless focus on the gamer and an inspired community of developers".
