Watch Dogs Confirmed For PS4 Launch, New Open-World Gameplay Video Released

Ubisoft has confirmed that hotly anticipated open-world epic Watch Dogs will be available for PlayStation 4 when the system launches later this year. During yesterday’s PlayStation Meeting event in New York City, the platform holder unveiled a new gameplay scene showcasing the open-world on offer – with protagonist Aiden Pearce using his smartphone to uncover secrets surrounding citizens of Chicago, as well as hacking the city’s central operating system. “The power and capability of the PS4 allows the Watch Dogs team to further push the boundaries of what was previously thought possible in interactive entertainment,” said Ubi CEO Yves Guillemot.
