Nina Simone – "The Time Is Now" (Unreleased)

To commemorate what would have been Nina Simone’s 80th birthday two days ago, the Nina Simone Estate released this 1966 demo recording of “Time Is Now.” The track is said to have been recorded at Nina’s home and only featured on a limited edition Hidden Treasures Dutch release, which coincided with the David Brun-Lambert written biography of her life.
