A new small Renault
concept has been spotted in Madrid. From the footage that has been
captured, it appears to be a rear-wheel-drive, mid-engined supermini. The
car is believed to be named TwinRun, or TwinFun. It was caught being
filmed for an advert, and believed to have a three-cylinder engine. Its mechanical layout could, potentially, hark back to classic Renault models such as the Renault 5 Turbo and Clio V6. Should the TwinRun/Fun make production, it would most likely be as a rear-wheel-drive Alpine version of the next Twingo. The
pictures, which were released on an internet blog site, show how many
elements of the car's design hint at those of the previous Renault 5
Turbo. (autocar)
