Rolls Royce has released a teaser video featuring the new coupe, which is set to be unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
After publishing the first teaser images and spy shots taken during
winter testing, Rolls Royce reveals this new clip, which slightly
uncover the silhouette of the new Rolls Royce Wraith.
The British coupé pledges to bring out the dark side of Rolls Royce,
combining the brand’s standard elegance and comfort to the dynamics and
driving pleasure of a true sports car. Rolls Royce Wraith will be the fastest car ever
produced by the manufacturer and will ensure sports car performance,
with excellent handling and ultimate road holding. The Wraith’s
suspension has been developed on the track and the final setup was tried
at the Nordschleife. The car was extensively tested at the Nurburgring, and will keep undergoing further high-speed testing on track until its official launch on the market. The luxury coupé will feature rear-wheel drive and should be equipped
with a V12 engine producing power output of around 600 hp, managed by
an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. Performance will be at the
highest level and the weight of the car should also be reduced compared
to the current Rolls Royce flagship models, which
despite being very heavy, boast both good acceleration and speed thanks
to the high performing V12 engines. (eurocarblog)
