Gullwing America is working on a 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS Roadster which will get an entirely different body. An undisclosed customer from Eastern Europe has ordered a one-of-a-kind car which is based on a 2012 SLS AMG Roadster (R197). The handmade aluminum body will be modeled after the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SC (W 188) which was made in only 92 units. As the images show, the front grille was redesigned, while the
position of the rear spoiler was modified. Other changes include new LED
headlights, custom exhaust system, adjustable height suspension and a
removable hard top. The GWA 300 rides on 21-inch wheels at the front and
22-inch alloys at the back with Continental tires. (worldcarfans)
