Since opening its own Swiss manufacture just about five years ago, Harry Winston has taken the art of building technically complex timepieces to new heights. The brand creates high-diamond pieces (including the innovative Rosebud convertible pendant, brooch and wristwatch unveiled this year), sport models and highly complicated watches. According to Frédéric de Narp, the company’s President and CEO, who took the helm two years ago, Harry Winston’s great name, visionary thinking and technical prowess in watches and jewelry have helped propel it to a sixty percent-plus increase in business over the previous year, despite the economic climate. “Harry Winston is a magical name, and my job is to honor the legacy of the brand,” says de Narp. “In timepieces, as of this year, we have now created key cornerstones for the brand with our collections.” (more)
