An extensive FBI file on the alleged criminal activity of the late Wu-Tang Clan rapper Ol' Dirty Bastard has been made public through the Freedom of Information Act. "The detectives have documented, in their case files, that the WTC is heavily involved in the sale of drugs, illegal guns, weapons possession, murder, car jackings and other types of violent crimes," reads one sample entry. Born Russell Jones, Ol' Dirty Bastard was arrested multiple times during his brief lifetime on various charges, including wearing a bulletproof vest as a convicted felon – the first person arrested under a then-new California state law. ODB collapsed and died on November 13, 2004, just short of his 36th birthday. The cause of death was determined to be an accidental overdose.
