Mini Superleggera Vision Concept Announced For Paris

Originally shown at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2014, the brand new MINI Superleggera Vision Concept is getting ready to gain a lot of attention as the company will be bringing it to the 2014th edition of the Paris Motor Show. The model in question is actually seen as a future rival for models such as the Mazda MX-5. The one-off vehicle has an appealing exterior design which is combining the traditional MINI elements along with lines which are taking it one step further into the future. “In this car all unnecessary equipment or decoration is sacrificed, as performance is gained through lightness and efficiency of the bodywork and interior. The Italian touch is in the proportions and the typical waistline”, said the head of design from Touring Superleggera, Louis de Fabribeckers. Italian coachbuilder Touring Superleggera and MINI have joined forces in order to create this appealing one-off vehicle and this will not be the only time when we will get to see it as rumors are stating that it will give birth to a production model in the future. More details on the MINI Superleggera Vision Concept will probably be announced this week, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show. (inautonews)
