Volkswagen has created a tribute video to the VW Kombi, which has finally left the
automotive stage after some 63 years of production. The short documentary — entitled Kombi Last Wishes — is narrated by the vehicle "herself". Also
known as the VW Type 2, the Kombi was created by Dutchman Ben Pon in
the 1940s. The name "Kombi" is an abbreviation of the German word
"Kombinationsfahrzeug" — meaning "combined vehicle". Watch the video below.
