First Red-Band Trailer For "Kick-Ass 2"

Kick-Ass 2 has premiered its first trailer online. The superhero sequel, based on the comic book by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr, sees Aaron Taylor-Johnson's costumed vigilante continue his fight against crime and face off against a revenge-hungry Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). Chloe Moretz reprises her role as Hit-Girl in the superhero sequel, with Jim Carrey a new addition to the cast as Colonel Stars and Stripes. Scrubs actor Donald Faison is also on board to play Doctor Gravity. Kick-Ass 2, directed by Jeff Wadlow and produced by Matthew Vaughn, will open on July 19 in the UK and August 16 in the US through Universal Pictures. (digitalspy)
