The New MB&F HM5 Timepiece

The talented folks at MB&F are at it again and this time they've been inspired by the 70s with their Horological Machine No5. The watch is a tip of the hat to the Amida Digitrend, an underrated timepiece that was way ahead of its time. The HM5 resurrects this idea with a timepiece that takes that design into the modern day with a wedge-shaped case that features louvers inspired by car-design that isn't just for looks, but opens to allow light in for charging the Super-LumiNova indexes on the watch. The movement is a 30-jewel automatic with a 22k "battle-axe" rotor, Sowind gear train, and a power reserve of up to 42 hours. All of this is inside a water-resistant, stainless-steel container. Robert Zemeckis Says Script For Roger Rabbit Sequel Is Ready

Roger Rabbit could be ready to make his return to the big screen says Robert Zemeckis. In an interview with MTV, Zemeckis has been talking about a sequel to ‘Who framed Rodger Rabbit?’ “I’m happy with the script, it’s very good!” says the ‘Back to the Future’ director. “If I were to do the sequel, it would be done just like the first one,” Zemeckis told MTV, “I would do all of the animation hand-drawn; 2D, but using 3D tools.” But whilst Zemeckis wants the films to be released in 3D, he’s keen to keep the charm of the 1988 original. “It wouldn’t be like Pixar 3-D,” he says, “It wouldn’t look like that… this would again be another period movie.” Although the studio are still dragging their feet over the sequel, Zemeckis hinted that he’s willing to convert the original film for a 3D re-release - so either way there’s a good chance we get to see a lot more of Roger and Lady wife Jessica sometime soon. Technics Harley 883 Sportster By Roland Sands

The Technics Sportster XL883N was created in an alliance between Roland Sands Design and Technics. What started out as a stock Harley Davidson 883 Sportster, has now been transformed into a stealthy cafe racer inspired by Technics. Designed by Roland Sands of RSD, the bike’s most noticeable attribute is the solid disc styling used on both the front and rear rims which have been painted to replicate a slipmat, while the outer edge of the rim sports a machine dot pattern that would typically be found on a Technics turntable.
