Featuring a throwback silhouette that brings to mind the brand's heyday
in the 1960s, the P72 coupe is the first new De Tomaso car in decades.
It's being released to coincide with the Italian automaker's 60th
anniversary and pays homage to their 1960s P70 prototype racer. The
sports car features a carbon fiber chassis, manual transmission, and an
interior loaded with exposed carbon fiber, analog dial gauges, and
quilted leather. The power remains a mystery, but its unveiling at the Goodwood Festival of Speed
suggests it could house something that's racetrack-ready. Limited to 72
units, this aerodynamic beauty represents a glimpse into De Tomaso's
future and an ode to the past.
