Announcement Trailer For "Homefront 2" Released

The first Homefront game was released in 2011 and published by the now closed THQ. Now Crytek and Deep Silver are bringing the series back with it’s second installment, Homefront 2 and will be an open-world shooter. It’s set in Philadelphia which has become a police state and “a near future dystopia where catastrophic events have brought the USA to its knees and enabled North Korean forces to impose a brutal military occupation”. The game promises “a living, breathing, open world responds to your actions”. The production of Homefront 2 will be headed at Crytek’s Nottingham studio. Homefront is set to release in 2015 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
