Nissan x Italdesign GT-R50 Coupe

Nissan has officially unveiled the production version of its super-limited GT-R50 by Italdesign, announcing that the homage-paying supercar will be with clients in 2020. Limited to just 50 units, the GT-R50 is a unique homologation that takes the marque’s leading 2018 GT-R NISMO and adds an all-new body kit, as well as even more power derived from its 3.8-liter bi-turbo V6 engine. Here, the supercar packs 711 BHP and 575 lb-ft of torque, putting its newfound power to the road via Nissan’s advanced all-wheel-drive system. The GT-R50 was originally produced as a prototype that celebrated the 50th anniversary of the GT-R and Italdesign’s 50th anniversary in 2018. It came finished in a standout paint job dubbed “Liquid Kinetic Gray” with “Energetic Sigma Gold” inserts, but now, the production model sees all-new shades ranging from black and white to the famous blue shade synonymous with the GT-R’s lineage. It’s virtually unchanged from the prototype model, sporting a set of 21” carbon fiber-indebted rims and a whole host of aggressive styling cues. Each Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign model will set 50 lucky customers back by approximately $1,165,000 USD. (hypebeast)

Bugatti Chiron Noire Coupe

The Bugatti Type 57SC is one of the rarest, most valuable cars in the world. Only four came from the factory with the supercharged inline-eight, and one, "La Voiture Noire", was lost during WWII and has never been found. As a tribute to the long-lost Atlantic, Bugatti has released the Chiron Noire, finished in all-black. The "base" Chiron Noire comes in gloss black, while the Chiron Noire Sportive comes in exposed carbon fiber. The theme extends to the all-back interior, new Caractère wheels, brake calipers, and engine components. The best part of any Bugatti, the 8.0-liter, 16-cylinder, 1,500 horsepower quad-turbo engine, remains unchanged, meaning each of the 20 owners will have one of the most powerful production cars of all time. The Chiron Noire is expected to begin deliveries in the second quarter of 2020. (uncrate)

2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible

The 2020 Corvette continues on the revolutionary path with the just-released convertible version. Not only is this the first mid-engine Corvette, it's also the first with a retractable hardtop the folding canvas has gone the way of the front-engine layout. Chevrolet designed the 2020 Corvette as a convertible, so the lack of a top gives up nothing to the coupe in terms of chassis rigidity or handling. The two-piece top can retract at up to 30 MPH in 16 seconds and has been engineered to provide the same drag coefficient as the coupe when up. Not only is performance between the two the same, so is storage. The top takes no space away from the trunk, and with the front compartment, makes the Corvette one of the most practical mid-engine supercars you can get. Of course, the really important part is that the 495 horsepower V8 and eight-speed dual-clutch transmission carry over unchanged, making this arguably the best version of Chevy's two-seat sports car.
