Ducati has unveiled the 1299 Superleggera. This impressive machine boasts a power-to-weight ratio unlike anything that Ducati has created before.
The ride boasts 215 horsepower and
features a V-twin engine design that weighs only 344 lbs. The design
features lightweight carbon fiber frame, subframe, wheels, and swingarm,
while the Ohlins fork and rear stock makes a nice touch. The ride is
finished off with an Akrapovic titanium exhaust, Brembo brakes, traction
control, wheelie control, engine braking control, and cornering
anti-lock brakes. The price for what Ducati calls the “quintessence of motorcycling?” £72,000 or $89,225 US.
