First "Quantum Break" Gameplay Demo Unveiled

Remedy — the studio best known for Max Payne and Alan Wake — has unveiled the first protracted look at the gameplay action from the upcoming title Quantum Break. The third-person shooter stars a brooding character, Jack Joyce, who appears to be something of an amalgamation of Alan Wake and Max Payne. Joyce has the power to control time, which enables him to freeze enemies in ice-like time-crystals, but as the trailer shows, emissaries from the villainous Monarch corporation are equipped with technology that also allows them to maneuver inside those time stutters. The result is a gunfight that bends the space time continuum in dramatic fashion. Check out the video below, and expect Quantum Break to launch exclusively for the Xbox One in 2015. (freshnessmag)
