“One Shot. One Life” Documentary Explores The World Of Japanese Archery
Empty Mind Films presents the trailer to One Shot. One Life,
a film about the pursuit of excellence through the art of Japanese
Archery or Kyudo – ‘the way of the bow’. In the film, a master archer
prepares for the extremely difficult 8th dan grading – an achievement
that some train for 15 years to attain and whose pass rate is below 1%.
Directed by English filmmaker Jon Braely – who often covers martial arts
in his work and is a martial artist himself – One Shot. One Life is available to rent and buy via Empty Mind Films’ website.
