David Bowie Releases New Single "Where Are We Now?"

David Bowie celebrates his 66th birthday on 8 January by releasing a new single, Where Are We Now?, his first new music for 10 years. The track, which precedes the release in March of an album, The Next Day, was produced by Tony Visconti and recorded in New York. It harks back to Bowie's time in 1970s Berlin. The video was directed by artist Tony Oursler. (guardian)
