Bugatti Gangloff Supercar Concept
The Bugatti Gangloff concept is the work of Polish designer Pawel
Czyzewski. The concept was inspired by the one-of-a-kind 1938 Type 57 SC
Atlante Coupe which was built by the French coachbuilder Gangloff. But
it’s not all retro, there’s a good deal of influence coming from the
Veyron, which gives the concept a contemporary connection to the brand. On the inside there’s also a number of cues which are also
reminiscent of the Veyron, including the large oval-shaped center
console, high-mounted shifter, and center-tunnel mounted engine start
button. As usual with these independently designed concepts, the chances of
it making it any further than its creator’s hard drive are slim to none. (diseno-art)

top-secret Mind Management program. Her ensuing journey involves
weaponized psychics, hypnotic advertising, talking dolphins, and
seemingly immortal pursuers, as she attempts to find the flight’s
missing passenger, the man who was Mind MGMT’s greatest success—and its
most devastating failure. But in a world where people can rewrite
reality itself, can she trust anything she sees? Another one of Kindt's books, 3 Story: The Secret History of the Giant Man is in development at Warner Bros. with Dustin Lance Black attached to write and direct. (comingsoon)

Iggy And The Stooges Complete "Ready To Die" Album
Iggy Pop and the Stooges have finished recording a new album which will be called, Ready to Die. It’s their first studio effort since 2007′s uneven The Weirdness. This will be the first album
since the return of guitarist/producer James Williamson, who last
worked with the Stooges on 1973′s Raw Power and rejoined The Stooges
following guitarist Ron Asheton’s death in ’09. Asheton’s brother Scott
plays drums while the legendary Mike Watt lays down the bass. Longtime
Stooges collaborator Ed Cherney mixed the album and told HitFix that it
sounds like classic Stooges. “It’s raw. They’re great songs, but not
necessarily big choruses. They’re the anti-christ of anthems,” Cherney
explained, adding that the lyrics are “very timely. [Iggy Pop] knows
what he wants to say. He’s watching the world around him.” A release date hasn’t been revealed yet, though confirmed track titles include “I Got a Job But It Don’t Pay Shit” and “Gun”. (louderthanwar)
IDW Announces New "X-Files" Comic Book Series
The X-Files is to return in comic book format courtesy of IDW Publishing. The
firm is reprinting classic comics based on the TV property originally
released by Topps and Wildstorm, ahead of the launch of a brand new
series this summer. "The X-Files is a classic property that helped redefine fans'
expectations for the science-fiction and horror genres," said IDW
executive Greg Goldstein. "The possibilities for new comic stories are
virtually unlimited." IDW's new X-Files series will debut in June and follow on from the events of the 2008 movie X-Files: I Want to Believe. "Few shows have captured the zeitgeist and fans' imaginations like The X-Files, and fewer shows still have left people hungry for more in the way this one did," said editor-in-chief Chris Ryall. "Our
new series will be picking up where the second film left off, which
will hopefully be as exciting for fans to read as it is for us to
develop." X-Files comics have been running for almost as long as the TV show, which concluded in 2002. The series crossed over with IDW's 30 Days of Night in 2009. (digitalspy)

Bullet Cufflinks
Here is a really cool set of Cufflinks that will set you apart. Made from
genuine brass bullet casings, the casings were first, collected, cut
down, filed and polished, for use as CuffLinks. A cufflink is a decorative fastener worn by men or women to fasten the
two sides of the cuff on a dress shirt or blouse. Cufflinks are designed
only for use with shirts which have buttonholes on both sides but no
buttons. These may be either single or double-length "French" cuffs, and
may be worn either "kissing," with the ends pinched together, or
"barrel-style," with one end overlapping the other. Kissing cuffs are
usually preferred. (Artifacts N Relics)

ASB GlassFloor LED Sports Court
A glass sports floor at a school in Germany uses hidden LEDs to
switch between court markings at the touch of a button. The ASB Glassfloor
by ASB Systembau GMBH aids concentration by only showing the floor
markings for the sport being played but the company are also
planning to expand the technology to include light-up training
programmes and advertising capabilities. The floor is constructed from panels made from two glass sheets
similar to car windscreens. These panels sit atop an aluminium
frame which also contains the LED channels which describe a variety
of sport floor markings. Etching to the surface reduces reflections
which would otherwise be distracting while ceramic dots burnt into
the top panel provide grip. The combination of translucent glass and hidden LED channels
means that only those which are lit up can be seen by players. The company is keen to expand the technology in relation to
sports and training as well as exploring the possibilities of
smartfloors in other types of venue such as hotels and clubs. "We are thinking about running tracks with an indicator on the
floor moving at a set speed for continuous running training,
virtual barriers for football and handball training that appear and
move randomly and are not allowed to be crossed by the ball to
simulate defend opponents," say ASB of the flooring's capabilities.
"To enhance the professional presentation LED systems under the
floor can also be used to show the score, match statistics and
nation flags." Other suggestions include using the floor as a giant screen that
can show advertising, being able to illuminate escape routes during
emergencies, programmable dance floors and mood lighting for health
spas. (wired)

Brewmeister Armageddon: The World’s Strongest Beer
A brewery in Scotland claimed it has
produced the world’s strongest beer, Brewmeister’s Armageddon, which has
an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 65 percent. Beers typically have an ABV
between 3 and 10 percent. According to the Brewmeister website,
the beer is made of crystal malt, wheat, flaked oats and Scottish spring
water. It’s so strong because it is freeze-fermented, which entails
cooling the beer to freezing temperatures. As many alcohol aficionados
know, water, but not alcohol, freezes. So when the ice is removed, the
world’s strongest beer is left behind. Brewmeister’s Armageddon trumps the former
record-holder of the world’s strongest beer made by Brewster. The beer,
called The End of History, is a blonde Belgian ale with a 55 percent
ABV packaged in a stuffed animal case.
