Mercedes-AMG Project ONE Revealed

Ahead of the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show slated to start this Thursday, Mercedes-Benz reveals the Mercedes-AMG Project ONE — a sleek new hypercar that the company has been teasing for quite some time. Inspired by Mercedes’ Formula One team, particularly built around a 1.6-liter V6 hybrid of its 2017 F1, the vehicle boasts 1,000 horsepower and a top speed of “beyond” 217 mph, according to Mercedes-Benz, and flaunts an aerodynamic “shark fin” across its spine, similar to the one seen on its current F1 car. With the interior also taking cues from the F1, such as racing-inspired wheel and seats, other enhancements include two big digital displays and a dock for your smartphone in the center console.
