Mercedes-AMG has taken the opportunity to unveil its new 2018 GT C at
this year’s Detroit Auto Show. Not only is the vehicle the latest
addition to the GT lineup, but it also celebrates the 50th anniversary
of AMG. Thus, the hardtop Edition 50 variation boasts 550 horsepower (4.0-liter twin-turbo V8) and 502
lb-ft of torque, taking you from 0 to 60 in 3.6 seconds, before topping
out at 197 miles per hour. All in all, the 2018 GT C features a notably
wide body, with rear axle steering in addition to adaptive adjustable
dampers. The celebratory Edition 50, limited to 50
production models, in turn adorns a matte black finish with chrome trim,
and black and silver interior. Look for the Mercedes-AMG 2018 GT C to hit dealers in Summer 2017. (Highsnobiety)
