Following a preview earlier today, Audi has officially unveiled the interior of the 2015 TT. Described as "puristic, sporty and fully focused on the driver," the
cabin boasts a "virtual cockpit" that combines the instrument cluster
and infotainment display into one single unit. The 12.3-inch TFT display
has two different modes - classic view and infotainment view - and
eliminates the need for a secondary infotainment screen. The interior has also been equipped with a flat-bottomed steering
wheel, aluminum trim and circular air vents with an integrated climate
control knob. Other highlights include a slender dashboard, a revised
center console and S sport seats with an integrated headrest and
pneumatically adjustable side bolsters. According to Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg, Member of the Board of
Management of AUDI AG for Technical Development, “The first Audi TT was
the design icon per se, the second generation was even sportier, right
through to the TT RS plus with its five-cylinder TFSI and 360 hp. And
with the new Audi TT, the driver will be able to experience the
technology to an even greater extent – just as would be expected from a
genuine sports car. And it comes with a new generation of electronics
and connectivity features.” (worldcarfans)
