The very rare Isdera Imperator 108i is a Mercedes-powered German supercar of the 1980s with a pretty interesting background. Closely-based on the CW 311 Studie, a Mercedes-Benz forgotten concept car from 1978, the first ever road-going Isdera car is technically a Mercedes that its parent company didn't want to manufacture themselves. This particular Imperator is powered by an AMG-sourced 6.0-liter V8 that’s good for 420 horsepower. It can go from 0-62 mph in 5.7 seconds and has a top speed of nearly 190 mph. Just 30 units of the odd-looking supercar with a periscope rearview mirror were ever produced, only few of which being manufactured with an engine tuned by AMG, like the one in the following video.
