Sufjan Stevens and his stepfather Lowell Brams have shared a new song from their forthcoming album Aporia. “Runaround” arrives with a music video shot and edited by abutta492. Stevens and Brams’ Aporia is out March 27 (via Asthmatic Kitty).
Czinger has released the details for the upcoming 21C hybrid hypercar. Designed
and built in-house from the chassis to the ICE engine using a patented
process that combines 3D-printing and computer-controlled machining, the
21C is the revolution Czinger claimed it to be — a 1,250 horsepower,
all-wheel-drive hybrid that tips the scales at just over 2,600
pounds. The main power unit is a 2.88-liter, twin turbo flat-plane crank
V8 that drives the rear wheels with a torque-vectoring electric motor
powering each front wheel. The V8 is mated to a seven-speed paddle-shift
transmission with software controlling the electric motors, all under
the driver's control. Quarter mile and 0-62 MPH times are astronomical
at 8.1 seconds and 1.9 seconds respectively. Czinger will make 80 21Cs
at their Los Angeles-based facility.

Pagani's latest iteration of the Huayra hypercar takes its name from the
famous Italian racetrack Imola. The name is completely earned — the car
spent nearly 10,000 miles at speed there during development, the most
severe process any Pagani endured, even by their exacting standards. The
Imola uses the active aerodynamics from the Huayra, with a refined
exterior profile sculpted during stints on the track and in the wind
tunnel. The Imola uses an all-new active suspension, along with the
familiar AMG V12, making 827 hp and a massive 811 lb-ft of torque. This
is coupled to an Xtrac 7-speed transverse transmission and an
electronically-controlled limited-slip differential, putting all that
power to the rear wheels and the specially-designed Pirelli Trofeo R
tires. The exterior paint is a bespoke formulation that weighs 11 pounds
less than previous finishes — a nod to Pagani's relentless pursuit of
perfection. Only five Imolas will be made, and all five are already

Toyota is introducing a new lineup of Supras for the 2021 model year,
adding more power with a jump to 382 hp in the 3.0 model and a new
limited edition run of 1,000 A91 Supras with exclusive colors and
exterior updates. The biggest highlight is the GR Supra 2.0, a new
four-cylinder option that produces 255 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. It
also has the same twin-scroll turbo, direct fuel injection,
and continuously variable timing as the inline-six as well as the same
eight-speed automatic transmission. It also comes in at 200 lbs lighter
and has a 0-60 time of 5.0 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph. (acquire)

Ahead of the release of their as-yet-untitled new album, Billy Talent have unveiled the first official single from the upcoming record: Reckless Paradise. The track is taken from the Canadian punk rockers’ sixth studio
full-length, the follow-up to 2016’s Afraid Of Heights, which is due
out this fall.
Alpine made their name rally racing with the A110, taking home a World
Rally Championship in 1973. Relaunched in 2017, the new A110 has proven
itself to be one of the best sports cars you can get, and with the A110
SportX, Alpine is getting back to its rally roots. Taking cues from the
A110 Rally, the SportX is based on the A110 Pure, with lifted suspension
and a clever ski rack. The concept is 3.1 inches wider and has an extra
2.4 inches of ground clearance, with a two-tone white and black paint
scheme. The front features a more aggressive fascia with Xs over the fog
lights in classic rally style and black wheels to complete the theme.
While Alpine claims no plans for production, the SportX is a great look
at how flexible the A110 platform can be. (uncrate)
