Nike Joyride Run Flyknit Sneaker

Considered the third pillar of Nike cushioning alongside Air and React, Joyride is a series of TPE bead-filled pods that maximize cushioning and energy return. The tech debuts in the Nike Joyride Run Flyknit Sneaker. Each of the pods is a different size and shape and has a different fill density based on how the foot strikes the ground when in motion. The result is a dynamic footbed that forms to your foot and feels a little like running on bubbles. The Run Flyknit is a perfect "recovery" shoe for long-distance runners and a normal runner for everyone else and will be joined in the Joyride lineup by the NSW and NSW Setter in the coming months. 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe

General Motors recently unveiled the eighth generation “C8” of its famed Chevrolet Corvette. Straying from previous front-engined, rear-wheel-drive iterations, the 2020 Corvette “Stingray” utilizes a mid-engined layout for the first time ever. By shifting the weight, the car becomes centered around the driver placing the driver further up in the car closer to the front wheels. Mid-engined, rear-wheel drive layouts provide many drive and handling benefits: a more balanced weight distribution, added load over the rear wheels to help with traction, visibility improvements, and a more engaging and enveloping connection to the engine’s sounds and functions are just a few of the draws for MR sports cars. Starting at just $60,000 USD, the 2020 Corvette Stingray will feature a 6.2-liter V8 engine pushing out 490 horsepower. Unfortunately, a manual transmission will not be offered; the forthcoming Corvette will arrive only with a dual-clutch eight-speed automatic transmission controlled by paddle shifters. General Motors is claiming that the new Corvette will be its fastest ever, being able to go from zero to 60 miles an hour in under three seconds if purchased with the 495-horsepower Z51 Performance Pack. Check out the 2020 Corvette Stingray above and expect the model to go into production at General Motors’ Bowling Green, Kentucky, assembly plant sometime this fall. (hypebeast)

Watch The Trailer For 'Jay And Silent Bob Reboot'

The first trailer for Jay and Silent Bob Reboot has been unveiled, featuring a line-up of guest stars including Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. The reboot is a sequel to 2001’s Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and has been described by director and star Kevin Smith as “literally the same f***ing movie all over again”. Jay and Silent Bob Reboot is supposed to be a parody of modern Hollywood’s obsession with sequels, remakes and reboots. Jason Mewes and Smith are reprising their roles as hapless duo Jay and Silent Bob in the new film, and the trailer reveals cameos from Damon, Affleck, Val Kilmer, Method Man, Rosario Dawson and Chris Hemsworth, to name a few. In the clip, we see Jay and Silent Bob embarking on a cross-country mission to attempt to stop Hollywood rebooting an old movie based on them. Jay and Silent Bob Reboot will be released in cinemas on 15 October 2019.

The Lotus Evija Is A 2000-hp Electric Hypercar

Lotus has revealed their first all-electric model and it'll lay claim to being the first purely electric British hypercar when it hits the market in 2020. With its crisp lines inspired by aeronautics and rock formations, the muscular curves and aerodynamics create a powerful look to perfectly complement its equally powerful engine. The electric powertrain will produce almost 2,000 hp making the Evija the most powerful series production road car on the market. 0-60 will happen in under three seconds and it will reach a top speed of over 200 mph. Developed in collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering, the car will have 800kW charging capability, which would allow its battery to be fully charged in just nine minutes. Though chargers capable of producing that kind of power are not yet available, the Evija can plug into a 350kW unit for a charge time of 18 minutes to 100% and when at full capacity, the Evija can travel for up to 250 miles. Production for the Lotus Evija will begin in 2020 and will be limited to 130 examples. Deposits of £250,000 (approx. $310,207) are currently being accepted to guarantee a production slot. (acquire)
