HYT H0 Collection Watches
With the new HYT
H0 collection, the avant-garde brand immediately recognizable for their
use of liquid-filled tubes to indicate the time is back with a new
design. Featuring three different models, the HYT H0 Silver, H0 Orange,
and H0 Black, the all-new minimalist look takes visual cues from a water
droplet and a case design they call a "pebble" style. What does that
mean? Well, HYT foregoes a bezel and case edge altogether, opting for a
crystal that wraps around the side of the (very large) watch. The HYT H0 collection utilizes the same technology with a much cleaner aesthetic, adding an interesting twist to an already impressive and appreciated design language. As mentioned, the HYT H0 collection will come in 3 different colors, with users benefitting from a titanium or black DLC-coated titanium 48.8 mm case. Skeletonized windows at 6 o’clock show off the reservoirs, while each piece will be fitted with an exclusive HYT Calibre beating at 28,800VpH with 35 jewels and Côtes de Genève-decorated bridges visible through the sapphire caseback. The domed sapphire crystal will prove to be an incredible treat for our eyes, while the chic rubber strap and 30 meters of water resistance are also worth a mention. If you’re wondering about pricing info right now, you should know that these new HYT watches will be priced at $39,000 USD, each.

New 'NBA Playgrounds' Game Trailer
NBA Playgrounds is coming to consoles next month. The
game is a return to the arcade-style basketball games of yesterday,
like NBA Street and NBA Jam. Officially licensed by the NBA, the game
features players both active and retired, with Allen Iverson facing off
against modern ballers Steph Curry and George Hill in the opening of the
trailer. Every NBA team is featured in NBA Playgrounds, and the
"roster of current and retired" players can be leveled-up. Keeping
inline with its arcade-style roots, Playgrounds features "hundreds of
over-the-top dunks and moves." Playgrounds can be played solo, local-multiplayer, or "against the world" online. Developed
by Saber Interactive, CEO Matt Karch calls it accessible enough for
anyone to pick up and play, but it still has "a lot of depth for
hardcore pros who’ve mastered their game." The
return of high-flying, cartoonish arcade basketball hits Nintendo
Switch, PC, PS4 and Xbox One next month as a digital-download for $20
USD. (ign)
